Wellness Resources

Employee Assistance Programs

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are often the best wellness resource available to union members or management employees. As part of their preventative services, they often provide mental healthcare, financial planning, stress and anger management trainings, and other services. Click the links below to find out more information on EAP services within the trades or private insurers.

BTEA Wellness Initiatives

The BTEA is the lead organization behind the Building Trades Recovery Week in Massachusetts. The first of it’s kind event was sponsored by the major building trades unions and construction employer associations in Massachusetts to raise awareness of substance use disorders in construction and recovery options.

We are also proud to be a partner of Modern Assistance Programs.

Along with our labor partners, we offer wellness resources to all our contributing contractors related to substance use disorder, recovery, and mental health.

Below are some regular support groups open to all that are offered through MAP.  Please contact Thomas S. Gunning at TSG@BTEA.com for more information.
