Employer Opioid Survey w/ National Safety Council

The National Safety Council (NSC) is a leading voice advocating for safety in the workplace. Join NSC as they present their new comprehensive employer survey on opioids. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their own experiences in the construction industry as it relates to the national trends presented.
More than 100 people die every day from opioid overdoses, and 75% of employers say their workplaces have been impacted by opioid use, according to a National Safety Council poll. Only 17% of employers feel well-prepared to deal with the issue.

- 31% have had an overdose, arrest, near-miss or injury because of employee opioid use
For the first time in U.S. history, a person is more likely to die from an accidental opioid overdose than from a motor vehicle crash, according to NSC calculations.
