UPDATE: The DFML has issued an extension notice until June 31st for employers to provide notice and collect acknowledgement forms from their employees.
Under the final draft of regulations for the Massachusetts Paid Family & Medical Leave Law, all employers are:
- required to display a poster in a highly visible area of their workplace
- provide written notice of the payroll contributions, benefits, and workforce protections to MA W2 and 1099-MISC contractors.
- collect a signed acknowledgement of reciept of this notice from their employees.
